Wingagri, a cutting-edge platform within the Wing Bank’s ecosystem, clinches the prestigious title of “Private Sector of the Year” at the Cambodia Digital Awards 2024

Wingagri, an integral component of Wing Bank (Cambodia) Plc’s ecosystem, has been honored with the Private Sector of the Year award at the 10th annual Cambodia Digital Awards 2024 (CDA2024).

Organized by the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC), the CDA2024 celebrates exceptional achievements in Cambodia’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.

“In Cambodia, many farmers face barriers such as limited access to markets, affordable financing, and digital tools,” said Manu Rajan, Division CEO of Wing. “Wingagri is our commitment to removing these barriers. By combining cutting-edge technology, financial solutions, and direct market access, we are not just supporting farmers—we are transforming agriculture into a digitally empowered and sustainable industry.”

Wingagri stood out among this year’s nominees for its transformative impact on Cambodia’s agricultural value chain. The platform is designed to empower farmers, agricultural cooperatives, and other stakeholders by providing them with an integrated suite of tools that enhance market access, financial services, and operational efficiency.

By enabling seamless transactions, product showcasing, and buyer-seller interactions, Wingagri bridges crucial gaps in the agricultural sector, offering farmers access to affordable loans, market connections, and advanced analytical insights. These capabilities not only help smallholder farmers expand their businesses but also drive Cambodia’s agricultural sector into the digital age, making it more sustainable, competitive, and resilient.

Wingagri’s achievements highlight the bank’s broader mission to drive digital inclusion and economic growth across Cambodia, particularly in the agriculture sector, which remains a cornerstone of the country’s economy. The platform’s success also supports Wing Bank’s commitment to fostering sustainable development, promoting digital literacy, and advancing financial inclusion as key drivers of Cambodia’s future growth.

The Cambodia Digital Awards, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, is one of the country’s most esteemed platforms for recognizing excellence in digital technology and innovation.
