Job Descriptions

  • Act as a point of escalation for complex trade finance issues and provide expert advice and solutions.
  • Process and manage trade transactions, including import and export documentation, letters of credit, guarantees, and documentary collections.
  • Review and verify trade documents for accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Uplift the sale volume through delivery of necessary knowledge to sale terms
  • Support sale team in the discussion of trade sturcture with the customer
  • Support coordinate with internal teams, such as sales and credit admin team to ensure timely and accurately processing of trade transactions.
  • Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders to facilitate trade operations and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Monitor and track the progress of trade transactions, ensuring adherence to timelines and customer requirements.
  • Conduct necessary due diligence checks to ensure compliance with international trade regulations and anti-money laundering (AML) guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records of all trade transactions and related documentation.
  • Stay updated with the latest trade regulations, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing their queries and concerns regarding trade operations.
  • Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure adherence to all regulatory guidelines and requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of trade operations.
  • Generate reports and analyze trade data to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure proper governance of trade processing for customers i.e. proper documentation; timely and accurately processing, booking, and settlement of trade transactions
  • Ensuring strict compliance with legal and regulatory bodies governing trade operation compliance with international standard
  • Ensure a proper and fast turnaround time of the complaint resolution
  • Provide training and support to staff involved in trade operation support and sales
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of the bank's trade processing and systems to identify areas for improvement

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Banking and Finance, Business Management or related fields
  • At least 5-year experience in Banking sector
  • At least 3 years’ experience in trade operations and international payment
  • Strong knowledge of trade finance products, including letters of credit, guarantees, and documentary collections.
  • Familiarity with international trade regulations, such as UCP 600
  • Proven track record in managing trade finance risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in complex trade finance scenarios
  • Proficient in trade finance systems and software.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
